We began our 2021 Haunted Adventure Tour at Fritzler Farms in LaSalle, CO, home of Scream Acres Haunted House. Over the years, Scream Acres has been one of our favorite haunts! We always have so much fun exploring the farm, and competing with each other in all the farm games like trike races, ball toss, and the always popular pumpkin canons. And we are happy to report 2021 was no different. We had a blast this year enjoying everything the farm had to offer. For the first time in several years the enclosed tube slide on Slide Mountain was open! We must have gone down the slide 5 or 6 times each! Just a ton of fun. The King and the Junior Hauntaholics enjoyed a friendly basketball competition at the Hoop N’ Holla (which you can check out in our Youtube video below!) and the Queen lost a hard fought battle in the trike races. The farm games offered here really are the perfect place for some family friendly fun! You could spend a whole day at Fritzler Farms enjoying the games and food during the day and hitting up the haunt after dark.

Scream Acres has become a much more kid friendly haunted attraction the last couple of years. Gone are the days of the intense zombie paintball bus ride through the corn field, gone are the elaborate sets and detailed scripts for the actors. And while, we as adults might miss some of these scarier features, the new Scream Acres provides loads of fun and entertainment for the whole family!! It is a perfect beginners haunt for anyone who like spooky stuff but, not too much of it. The great thing about this haunt is you get a lot of bang for your buck. Their ‘Chillin’ package is the most basic at $27.95** and includes the Scream Acres attraction and and all farm games except the pumpkin cannons and paintball experience. From there you can upgrade to the ‘Screamin’ package at $47.95** which grants you VIP access to the haunt. Alternately, you can go with the ‘Shreikin’ package at $37.95** which is a timed entry ticket guaranteed to get you in the haunt during your time slot. Whatever option you choose, we definitely recommend a visit to Scream Acres this season if you are looking for a fun and family friendly Halloween adventure that has just the right amount of spooky!
