The Empty Grave in Thornton Colorado is the best mall haunt we’ve been to in a long time! This haunt used to be located in small strip mall near Loveland, CO. Now they are located in the new Thornton Outlet Mall off of I-25 and 136th Ave. This haunt has a factory theme which they stuck to 100%. They have a unique way of delivering the haunt rules by the factory foreman which we love! Its interactive, part of the theme and just fits really well. We took note of some additional actors in the haunt this year which really enhanced our experience. The sets were also upgraded from last year with more detail alluding to the whole factory setting. This is one of the few haunts we see that comes up with an offbeat theme, makes it work, makes it scary, and sticks with it for the whole haunt! We really are looking forward to watching The Empty Grave continue to grow and become a new staple haunt on our Colorado tour.
